Africa Practice 20th Anniversary

Unifying Continental Communications.

The Challenge

Africa Practice engaged us for two distinct, high-stakes milestone projects. First, they needed a compelling visual anchor to celebrate their 20th Anniversary. Second, for the COP 26 climate conference, they needed to highlight people leading climate projects across Africa. The core challenge for COP 26 was visual consistency: sourcing high-quality, uniform photography of individuals spread across the entire continent was impossible.

Our Solution

For the 20th Anniversary, we edited and produced a high-impact film to anchor their milestone communications, and structured their 20-year anniversary report. For COP 26, we bypassed the photography problem entirely by deploying 'caricature communications.' We illustrated the climate leaders in a highly stylized, distinctive, and uniform caricature format. This not only solved the logistical nightmare of continental photography but also provided a striking, unified visual story that stood out at the global summit.
